What to know about the Olympics today
Welcome to Day 11 of the 2026 Milano-Cortina Games. After a double-medal day yesterday, Team Canada has more chances at the podium in the coming hours.
The Canadian speed skating team will try to repeat as Olympic champions, while Canada has some outside medal chances on the slopes. Later, the men’s hockey playoffs get going and Canada’s curling teams face some tough matchups.
Here’s what to watch:
- Snowboarding: Laurie Blouin and Juliette Pelchat compete in the women’s slopestyle final at 7 a.m. ET.
- Speed skating: Ivanie Blondin, Valérie Maltais and Isabelle Weidemann are in the women’s team pursuit at 8:52 a.m. ET. The trio won gold at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

- Curling: The Canadian men and women each play only one game on Tuesday, but it’s a tough one. Rachel Homan’s team, battling to keep their skip from missing the playoffs for a third straight Olympics, faces 6-0 Sweden at 8:05 a.m. ET. Brad Jacobs’ team plays Great Britain at 1:05 p.m. ET.
