Canada’s women’s team opened Week 2 of Volleyball Nations League with a 3-1 win over the Netherlands on Wednesday in Bangkok.

Canada came back after dropping the first set 20-25, winning the next three by scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-20.

Kiera Van Ryk of New Westminster, B.C., led all scorers with 26 points from 17 attacks, three blocks and six aces.

Elles Dambrink had a team-high 13 points for the Dutch.

The Canadians, who went 2-2 earlier this month in Quebec City to open the tournament, moved up to seventh in the standings.
