Marina Mabrey selected as Toronto Tempo’s first WNBA all-star

Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey will be heading as a reserve player to this year’s WNBA All-Star Game.

It marks the first time a player will represent the newly formed franchise, as well as a first for the 6-foot-1 athlete.

“It feels really good to be named a WNBA All-Star,” said Mabrey in a Toronto Tempo news release.

The 22nd annual WNBA All-Star Game will be held in Chicago on July 25.
