Game 4 coming up tomorrow
The Blue Jays have another chance to clinch a spot in the American League Championship Series tomorrow night at 7 p.m. ET.
They’ll turn to their bullpen, again, to carry them through the game — probably with Eric Lauer, who has started games for the team this season and didn’t pitch in New York tonight. (John Schneider didn’t say who would start during a post-game interview, but did say “everyone’s available.”)
The Yankees will use rookie Cam Schlittler, who pitched incredibly well in the wildcard series against the Boston Red Sox.
The odds of the Blue Jays advancing are still in their favour, but they’ll need to up their game if they want a champagne celebration in the Bronx.
Thanks so much to everyone who followed along tonight. It was a real thrill to watch the game alongside you.
That concludes our live coverage tonight. You can head to cbc.ca/news for more.
