The Toronto Blue Jays traded left-hander Justin Bruihl to the Cleveland Guardians in exchange for cash considerations, the team said Wednesday.
Bruihl was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Monday after they agreed to terms with fellow reliever Tyler Rogers on a three-year contract worth $37 million US.
Bruihl did not record a decision over 15 appearances with Toronto this past season. He had a 5.27 earned-run average.
