The Toronto-vs-Seattle trash talking extended beyond baseball Saturday as Seattle’s hockey team engaged in some not-so-subtle trolling of Toronto Blue Jays fans.

The Seattle Kraken entered Scotiabank Arena Saturday night sporting Seattle Mariners jerseys, an apparent show of solidarity for city’s baseball team as they head into Game 6 of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) against the Jays.

The Kraken also took the trolling to social media in multiple posts to X, with lines like “walk in the 6ix, takeover the 6ix” and “SEATTLE OVER EVERYBODY.”

The team followed up on the move by beating the Maples Leafs 4-3 on the ice.

The Mariners now have a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series after a late-game offensive onslaught led the team to a 6-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 5 on Friday.

The Jays will face Seattle again Sunday night for a must-win Game 6 at Rogers Centre.
