Toronto Sceptres forward Daryl Watts was rewarded for her performance in December by being named to the PWHL’s starting six on Friday.

The awards recognize the top three forwards, two defenders and one goaltender for their play in the previous month.

Watts had at least one point in five of seven games in December. Her four goals last month included a game-winner in Toronto’s win over Montreal last Saturday.

Forwards Kendall Coyne Schofield and Britta Curl-Salemme of the Minnesota Frost were also honoured. The defensive nods went to Megan Keller and Haley Winn of the Boston Fleet and teammate Aerin Frankel was the top netminder.
