Watch Canadians compete at the World Athletics Championships

Click on the video player above beginning Sunday at 6:20 p.m. ET as the best track and field athletes on the planet compete at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

Coverage includes the men’s marathon at 6:30 p.m. ET, featuring Canadian Cam Levins. The 36-year-old from Campbell River, B.C., holds the North American marathon record (2:05.36).

Reigning Olympic and world champion Ethan Katzberg of Nanaimo, B.C., will compete in men’s hammer throw qualifying at 8 p.m. ET.

The women’s 400m hurdles heats at 10:20 p.m. ET feature Borden, Sask., native Savannah Sutherland, who captured her second NCAA title in the event last June.

Camryn Rogers is feeling confident for world athletics championships

The Canadian hammer thrower is ready to bring home a medal for Canada in Tokyo.

The next session begins on Monday at 6:25 a.m. ET and features coverage of the women’s hammer throw final and men’s 1,500m semifinals.

The session will also include the men’s pole vault final, women’s 100m hurdles final and men’s 3,000m steeplechase final, along with the men’s 100 and 400 hurdles heats and men’s long jump qualification.
