Blue Jays, Dodgers tied 1-1 in Game 2 of the World Series

Larger crowd at Nathan Phillips Square

Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square, site of its city hall, still seems to be the place to be for the largest gathering of Jays fans

For the second night, the square is hosting a watch party, complete with a giant television screen.

The crowd’s larger than the night before, perhaps fuelled by the big victory and despite the cold weather (which seems to have an extra wind chill bite).

But most fans are bundled up, standing to view the game. Some are watching from provided chairs while others brought their own.

Wendy Lawrence said she decided to trek over here tonight, having just listened to Game 1 last night.

“It’s really hard to listen to baseball so I came somewhere where it’s free and the environment is fun.”
