Taylor Ruck won her heat in the women’s 50-metre butterfly event, with a time of 25.61 seconds at the 2026 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Irvine, Calif. Ruck’s swim beat the Canadian record by 0.01 seconds, set by Penny Oleksiak in 2017.
