Canada’s Marjorie Lajoie and Zachary Lagha earned silver in the ice dance event at the Skate America figure skating competition on Sunday.

The pair finished with a total score of 197.16.

Madison Chock and Evan Bates of the United States (212.58) took gold, while France’s Evgeniia Lopareva and Geoffrey Brissaud grabbed bronze (192.61).

Canada’s Alicia Fabbri and Paul Ayer finished ninth (165.68).

Canada’s Marjoie Lajoie and Zachery Lagha scored 119.74 good enough to win the silver medal in the ice dance at Skate America in Lake Placid.

Lajoie and Lagha joined Kelly Ann Laurin and Loucas Ethier as the only Canadians to medal at the event.

Laurin and Ethier earned bronze in the pairs event on Saturday.
