Canada’s Kadriana Lott and Colton Lott defeated Italy’s Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner 6-5 in an extra end Monday at the world mixed doubles curling championship in Geneva.

The Gimli, Man., couple stole a point in the extra frame to improve to 4-0 and hand the reigning world champions their first loss.

The victory moved Canada into sole possession of first place in Pool B with a 4-0 record, ahead of Italy at 3-1.
